1. MUXSAM 1 Piece Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip (Purple)
This counter earns its rank because it offers a vibrant color option for players who want to easily spot their gear in a crowded bag. Its design is stripped back to the basics, ensuring you aren't distracted by unnecessary flourishes.
In my view, the simple purple finish is a great choice if you prefer your accessories to match a specific bag or outfit. It does the job without adding bulk or complexity to your game.
Buyers frequently mention that the clip attaches securely to most standard golf bags.
The bead movement is consistent enough for tracking strokes during a casual round.

3. DEIHAALEN Golf Stroke Counter, 4 Pack Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip for Referee Caddy Golfer
The unexpected feature here is the 4-pack configuration, which allows you to keep spares in different pockets or share them with your regular foursome. This utility makes it the most practical option for a serious golfer.
In my ranking, this is the clear winner because it offers the best overall value. You get the same reliable performance as the single units, but with the added benefit of having backups ready when you need them.
Buyers consistently highlight that the clips are sturdy enough for repeated use.
The beads are sized well to allow for easy manipulation even while wearing gloves.
Users often mention that having multiple units makes it easy to leave one on every bag.

4. MUXSAM 1 Piece Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip (Blue)
The most common complaint is that the clip tension can loosen over time, requiring a manual adjustment to keep it tight. Despite this, it remains a reliable choice for players who prioritize a specific blue aesthetic over complex features.
I believe this is a solid choice if you are careful about how you attach your accessories. It functions exactly as expected, provided you keep an eye on the clip integrity.
Many users report that the blue color is easy to distinguish in low-light conditions.
The counting mechanism is simple to reset after each hole.
Players often note that the cord remains durable despite regular exposure to the elements.

5. Zelerdo 10 Pack Golf Beads Count Stroke Score Counter
Unlike the DEIHAALEN 4-pack, this set provides a higher volume of counters at a lower price point, making it the superior choice for large group outings. It is the most economical way to supply a tournament or a charity event.
I would point any tournament organizer toward this set for its sheer quantity. It is not about the premium build, but rather the ability to provide every player with a dedicated scorekeeper.
Organizers often praise the bulk pricing for charity events.
The beads are light enough to avoid adding weight to a travel bag.
Buyers note that the uniform design makes them easy to distribute to large teams.

6. MUXSAM 1 Piece Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip (Red)
This model became popular due to its high-visibility red color, which makes it a standout choice for players who frequently lose track of their gear. It holds up well as a basic, no-nonsense tool that is easy to find in a messy bag.
I find the red finish quite practical for quickly identifying your counter at a glance. It performs reliably, proving that a simple design often beats a complicated one.
Users often comment that the color does not fade quickly under the sun.
The bead tension is generally reported as firm and reliable.
Many players appreciate the minimalist profile that does not snag on clothing.

Choosing Between Them
My top recommendation is the DEIHAALEN 4-pack, as it offers the best practical utility for any golfer, especially if you enjoy sharing gear with friends. If you need color-specific items, the MUXSAM line in purple, blue, or red serves the individual golfer well, while the Zelerdo 10-pack is the go-to for large group outings and event organizers. For the casual weekend player, the WHTCHSU counter remains a solid, reliable choice for keeping score without distractions.
These manual counters are excellent for simplicity, but please remember that these plastic bead systems lack the precision and features of digital alternatives. While they are perfect for tracking your score, they do not provide the data analysis you might find in a smartphone app. I find these tools to be the most reliable companions for players who want to focus on their game rather than their technology.
